DJ Marvelous started developing his love for music at an early age, being surrounded by various types of music in his household, such as Motown, R &B, Jazz, and Classic Rock. He began his music career as a musician playing both drums and bass guitar in local R & B and Classic Rock bands in his hometown of Springfield, MA. He refined his musical knowledge and microphone skills as a radio DJ personality for the local station WBCC in Daytona Beach, Florida. Later moving to the Southern California area, he became a first-call musician for the Los Angeles Jazz scene, and also an in-demand Disc Jockey for many private celebrity events, corporate parties, clubs, and weddings.

He is one of the few Southern California DJs that can handle any type of music with equal knowledge and skill. He prides himself in his extensive music, music video, and karaoke library, and his ability to utilize its vast resources. He spins R & B, Hip Hop, Salsa, Merengue, Classic Rock, Top 40, Disco, and Techno, to the satisfaction of everyone.

Recently, he has expanded his musical reach internationally to perform in such countries as France, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. He also donates his time and skills to many organizations such as the Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the YMCA. DJ Marvelous is a charter member of the American Disc Jockey Association.
